The LINQ® Type 3 Self-Retracting Lifeline (SRL), also known as an Inertia Reel with Retrieval Winch, is a premium rescue-rated fall arrest device designed for confined space entry, industrial rescue and demanding working at height applications. Available in 10m, 20m and 30m lengths, these heavy-duty wire rope SRLs automatically extend and retract as the user moves, maintaining constant tension to eliminate excess cable, minimise trip hazards and significantly reduce free-fall distance. Housed in a high-impact aluminium casing, each unit is engineered to withstand harsh industrial environments while providing reliable performance for critical safety applications.

Designed for high-risk workplaces, the LINQ Type 3 SRL range features an innovative Dual Mode system that allows the unit to function as both a standard self-retracting fall arrest device and a manual rescue winch. In Block Mode, the SRL operates as an independent fall arrest system, instantly locking during a fall to reduce impact forces. By engaging the locking pin, the unit quickly switches to Winch Mode, enabling a suspended worker to be safely raised or lowered during rescue operations. Fitted with a load-indicating swivelling triple action karabiner, a swivel anchorage eye to minimise cable twisting and rated for users up to 140kg, the LINQ Type 3 SRL range is the ideal solution for confined space work, utilities, mining, oil and gas, construction and industrial maintenance where rapid rescue capability is essential.
