The GRIPPS® Tool Grapple® with Auto-Stop is a retractable wire-cable tool tether engineered to provide controlled, tension-free drop prevention when working at height. Its unique auto-stop function allows the cable length to be locked at any point, eliminating constant retraction force and improving comfort and control during precision tasks.

The tether uses a PU-coated stainless-steel woven wire cable housed in a rubber ABS synthetic casing, delivering excellent durability in demanding industrial environments. The auto-retracting mechanism extends smoothly up to 1.35 m / 53 in, while the dual-action carabiner provides a secure connection to tools, belts, harnesses or wrist bands.

With a maximum load rating of 2 kg / 4.4 lb, compliance with ANSI/ISEA 121-2023, and proven performance across temperatures from 36°C to 45°C, the GRIPPS® Tool Grapple® with Auto-Stop is ideal for construction, utilities, maintenance, scaffolding, wind and industrial applications where precise tool handling and dropped-object prevention are critical.
