The GRIPPS® Bungee Tether Heavy-Duty Dual-Action Carabiner (18 kg / 40 lb) is a high-capacity, elasticised tool tether engineered for securing heavier tools when working at height. Featuring an oversized heavy-duty dual-action carabiner, this tether delivers a secure connection while allowing smooth, controlled tool movement during use.
Manufactured from robust polyester elastic webbing, the bungee construction efficiently absorbs the downward force generated by a dropped tool. When arresting a fall, the tether extends up to 40 cm (16 in) to reduce shock loading, stabilise the user and minimise bounce-back.
A high-visibility wide tail loop with additional grip-weave allows secure fastening to tools, anchor points or handrails. With a maximum load rating of 18 kg / 40 lb and compliance with ANSI/ISEA 121-2023, this heavy-duty tether is ideal for construction, maintenance, scaffolding, utilities, mining, oil & gas and industrial environments where higher load capacity is required.
