LINQ® Self-Retracting Wire Rope Lifeline (Inertia Reel)

The LINQ® Self-Retracting Wire Rope Lifeline (SRL), also known as an Inertia Reel, is a premium fall arrest device engineered to provide dependable protection and unrestricted movement when working at height. Available in 7m, 10m, 15m, 20m and 30m lengths, these heavy-duty wire rope SRLs automatically extend and retract as the user moves, maintaining constant tension to eliminate excess cable, minimise trip hazards and significantly reduce free-fall distance. Housed in a high-impact transparent polycarbonate casing, each unit provides outstanding durability while allowing quick visual inspection of the internal components. Every model is supplied with a load-indicating swivelling triple action karabiner and an integrated carry handle, making the range ideal for construction, mining, oil and gas, utilities, infrastructure and heavy industrial maintenance.

Built for demanding Australian workplaces, the LINQ Wire Rope SRL range incorporates a high-performance internal braking system that instantly arrests a fall while limiting arrest forces to less than 6kN. The durable galvanised steel wire rope provides exceptional strength, abrasion resistance and long service life, while every unit is rated for users up to 140kg. Designed to conform with EN 360:2023 and recognised in accordance with AS/NZS 1891.3, the range offers up to five years service-free (subject to usage and work environment) before periodic servicing is required, providing a reliable long-term fall protection solution for professionals working at height every day.
