The GRIPPS® Mule Tool Backpack is a purpose-built, drop-prevention compliant tool backpack designed for technicians working at height, on scaffolding, rails and EWPs. Certified to ANSI/ISEA 121-2023, this backpack goes beyond standard tool bags by integrating load-rated mounting and lifting features for safer worksite use.

Manufactured from water-resistant 1000D tarpaulin, the Mule Tool Backpack is lightweight yet highly durable. The nylon-reinforced transparent TPU top closure allows visibility of contents while ensuring tools remain fully enclosed during lifting and height work.

A key feature is the load-rated mounting straps, allowing the backpack to be securely hung from rails or scaffolding to keep tools off the ground and within easy reach. With a 20 kg / 44 lb lifting capacity, multiple internal and external load-rated anchor points, and an organised internal layout, this backpack is ideal for industrial maintenance, construction, utilities, mining, oil & gas, wind and telecom applications.
