Description

Designed for safe, reliable, and efficient handling of drill collars during drilling operations, our Drill Collar Slips provide exceptional gripping performance for oil and gas, geothermal, mining, and exploration drilling applications. Manufactured from high-strength alloy steel and engineered with a full wrap-around multi-segment design, these slips deliver secure load distribution while reducing wear on the drill collar. They are suitable for use on rotary drilling rigs and are compatible with standard API taper bowls.

Available in Short (DCS-S), Regular (DCS-R), and Long (DCS-L) configurations, the range accommodates drill collar outside diameters from 3" to 14", making them suitable for virtually every standard drilling application. The multi-segment construction provides complete circumferential contact around the drill collar for maximum gripping force and improved stability during tripping operations.

Each Drill Collar Slip features hardened circular buttons for superior grip, reinforced back supports for increased strength, and durable elastomer grip handles that improve operator comfort and handling. The flat top design allows safety clamps to be fitted securely, following standard drilling practices for enhanced wellsite safety.

Ideal for land and offshore drilling rigs, these heavy-duty slips are built to withstand demanding drilling environments while delivering long service life and dependable performance.
